How does God stabilize me in unstable times?

1. His love for me never changes

• (God) “I have loved you with an everlasting love.” Jer. 31:3
• “Your love never changes, so save me!” Ps. 119:159
• POINT: “I NEVER NEED TO DOUBT GOD LOVES ME”… nothing will be able to separate us from the love of God.” Rom. 8:38

2. His Word never changes

• “The grass withers and flowers fade, but the Word of our God shall stand forever.” Isa. 40:8
• “Long ago I learned from your statues that you established them to last forever.” Psalm 119:152
• “Heaven and earth will pass away but My words will never pass away” Matt 24:35
• Temptation: Gen. 3:1 “Did God really say you couldn’t eat that …”
• “Everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.” Matt. 5:24
• •POINT: stability comes from building my life on God’s unchangeable word

3.His purpose for my life never changes

• “The Lord Almighty has sworn, `Surely as I have planned it, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will stand.” Isa. 14:24
• “His plans endure forever; His purposes last eternally.” Ps. 33:11
• “(God) is not a man — He does not change His mind.” 1 Sam. 15:29
• GOD’S PURPOSE: John 10:10, He came to give Me a full life
• “Those who trust in the Lord are as steady as Mount Zion, unmoved by any circumstance.” Psalm 125:1
